Another method of evaluating the growth peak is the analysis of the cervical vertebrae.
CVMS method(Cervical Vertebral Maturation Stage) proposed by Franchi, Bacetti and McNamara, takes into account the 3 cervical vertebrae (C2, C3, C4) to determine the stage of maturation. Our software is able to determine the CMVS of the patient with a very high degree of reliability.
The "Research" module of Delta-Dent has been the subject of study by the University of Pavia to assess the reliability of the analysis of skeletal maturity according to the cervical vertebrae (CVM) method.
Thanks also to the use of our software, in March 2012, the University of Pavia won the Research Award, at the XVII Symposium of the Orthodontic Schools, for the high clinical reliability in the analysis of the cervical vertebrae.
